Senior Netzwerk Engineer (IT/OT) 80 - 100 % (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and operate highly available network architectures for critical infrastructures (IT/OT).
• Implement and operate scalable and resilient network solutions (LAN, WLAN, WAN, Routing, Switching, Access Networks, Firewall).
• Independently lead, including planning and implementation, of demanding network projects.
• Advise in the Network Security environment, provide technical coordination and communication with specialist departments and external partners, develop and implement technical solution concepts.
• Operate, monitor, and optimize the existing network infrastructure, including documentation.
• Troubleshoot within the scope of the Incident and Support Management process.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement measures in the area of ICT minimal standard and ISO27001.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications, with several years of professional experience in the conception, administration, and further development of networks.
• Familiar with network/IP management, network monitoring, network configurations, and security management in large network environments, preferably with Fortinet and Extreme Networks manufacturers.
• Experienced in coordinating daily operational tasks and in planning and implementing connectivity projects.
• Communicative, open personality who enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams.
