About the Kaminho Project

The Kaminho Project is a major deepwater offshore development operated by TotalEnergies in Block 20/11, Kwanza Basin (Angola), targeting ~400 Mboe of recoverable resources with First Oil expected in mid-2028.

The project is executed through a joint venture between:

• TotalEnergies (Operator - 40%)
• Petronas (40%)
• Sonangol E&P (20%)

It is governed under a Production Sharing Contract with ANPG.

The role supports SURF installation and offshore execution activities across preparation in France and offshore rotation in Angola.

Responsibilities

• Support SURF Operations Lead in offshore preparation and execution activities
• Coordinate offshore installation operations and vessel activities
• Review installation engineering documents and contractor deliverables
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and project procedures
• Participate in SIMOPS / COMOPS planning and execution
• Monitor contractor performance and offshore progress (DPRs)
• Manage offshore interfaces between contractors, logistics, and project teams
• Act as interim Operations Lead when required
• Support vessel mobilization, inspections, and offshore readiness activities
• Coordinate with Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) and offshore stakeholders
• Contribute to risk assessments and change management processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years experience in offshore operations or construction
• Strong background in offshore installation engineering (SURF preferred)
• Experience as Company Representative on:
  • SURF vessels
  • Construction vessels
  • Pipelay vessels
• Strong knowledge of:
  • SIMOPS / COMOPS
  • Marine assurance & offshore readiness
  • Offshore HSE standards
  • IMCA guidelines IMCA
• Valid BOSIET / HUET certification (mandatory)
• Strong communication and coordination skills in multicultural environments
• Ability to manage operational pressure and complex offshore interfaces
• English mandatory (French and/or Portuguese is a plus)
