About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Operations Analyst, to join our Enrollments, Settlements, and Payments team. This role serves as a subject matter expert for the markets they support and is expected to proactively identify and resolve issues with minimal guidance. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership, and contribute to ongoing process improvements as new and enhanced systems are implemented.

This is a hybrid arrangement based in Baltimore, MD, with in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage asset enrollment in ISO/Utility markets, including settlement and shadow settlement of events and test events, while ensuring asset- and portfolio-level compliance.
  • Oversee the calculation and submission of customer payments.
  • Analyze portfolio trends and provide actionable insights across enrollment, settlement, and payment stages.
  • Lead and support system and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill ISO/Utility audit requests.
  • Deliver accurate reporting on the financial impact of market operations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop customized client reports and support executive-level market summaries.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in daily tasks and projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (e.g., Finance, Management, Marketing, Economics) or a technical/engineering discipline.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in Operations, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Excel, Power BI, PowerQuery, and/or Python is required.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to apply them in practical business contexts.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining a positive, customer-focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience or education in the energy sector is a plus but not required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
