What you'll do

• Lead the selection and efficiency optimization of advanced power topologies, utilizing precise simulation modeling to minimize losses in highly compact power supply modules.
• Develop new concepts and patents for DC-DC converters specifically focusing on magnetics, control schemes, and advanced modulation strategies.
• Act as a key technical liaison, building and sustaining strategic partnerships with premier industrial institutions and universities across Europe to maintain a competitive technological edge.

Requirements

• PhD degree in either Power Electronics, Electronic Engineering or similar
• Ideally 5-10+ years of industry experience
• Experience in power converters / DC-DC
• Experienced in power electronics converter topologies, control, modulation and algorithms
• Must have a strong research background in this area

This is a permanent position, based on-site in Nuremberg, Germany.
