Our client, a technology-driven organization, is seeking a talented Database Engineer to support a dynamic and regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on managing high-availability, mission-critical database systems in cloud environments.
• Assess and optimize database configurations to ensure peak performance and long-term sustainability.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve database observability, troubleshooting, and resolution times.
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate and enhance support protocols, reducing response times and team fatigue.
• Leverage advanced tools like Dynatrace and Dynatrace AI to build dashboards for proactive performance monitoring and issue diagnosis.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience managing critical cloud-based databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, or Dynamo DB.
• Proven expertise in database performance optimization within fast-paced settings.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Active Data Guard setup, and optimization.
• Proficiency in Dynatrace (2+ years), Idera, and OEM (7-10 years).
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, system administration, network architecture, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
