Senior Packaging Technician

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate of equivalent to NQF4
• Minimum 5 years' experience in technical maintenance
• Knowledge of grain specific automated packaging machines will be advantageous
• Electrical or Maintenance Diploma will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Coordinating Packaging Technicians for the upkeep of packaging department machinery and equipment
• Daily routine inspections of automated and manual packaging
• Daily breakdown repair as per fault finding on all automated and manual packaging machinery
• Ensuring that automated machines operate at their optimal levels
• Report low-stock levels to Management, and order parts as required
• Attend to breakdowns after hours
