RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a growing, employee‑owned organization to assist in hiring a Senior Payroll Accountant. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll at the division level.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, changes, and terminations.
- Track and report paid time off balances, including sick and safe leave.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and coordinate necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll and leave regulations.
- Prepare payroll, compliance, and job cost reports; support audits as needed.
- Collaborate with payroll teams to communicate payroll information accurately and confidentially.
- Assist with special projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; 6+ years of payroll experience.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with payroll systems.
- Solid problem‑solving and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
