Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) and excellent German language proficiency. The role requires deep testing experience across complex enterprise applications, with a strong focus on Pega-based decisioning, personalization, and marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end testing for Pega CDH implementations, including decision strategies, NBA/NBO, propositions, and customer journeys
  • Design and review test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test data for Pega CDH applications
  • Validate decision logic, adaptive models, offers, arbitration, and real-time interactions
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT support, and system testing
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Pega developers, architects, and product owners
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, data accuracy, and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a quality gatekeeper, identifying risks early and proposing mitigation actions
  • Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous quality improvement
  • Communicate effectively with German-speaking stakeholders for requirement clarification and validation

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing / QA roles
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Pega CDH (Customer Decision Hub)
  • Strong understanding of decision management, marketing automation, and personalization concepts
  • Experience testing complex business rules, decision strategies, and customer journeys
  • Excellent knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and test management best practices
  • Native German speaker or near-native fluency (spoken and written)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery models
  • Knowledge of Pega Platform testing tools and integrations
  • Exposure to banking, insurance, or large enterprise environments
  • Experience with test automation in Pega or related ecosystems
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
