Senior Pega Lead System Architect (LSA)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to lead development and architecture for our Music Excess & Surplus (E&S) insurance business. This role blends hands-on Pega development (25%) with team leadership and solution architecture (75%), guiding multiple teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and architecture of Pega solutions for policy administration and underwriting workflows.
• Manage 5–7 developers across CIA, Phoenix, and Guardians teams, providing mentorship and conducting code reviews.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable Pega solutions.
• Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
• Support cloud migration planning (Azure, 2026) and integration with Angular front-end applications.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of Pega development experience, including 2+ years as a Lead System Architect (LSA).
• Expert-level knowledge of Pega Product Builder Framework, policy administration systems, and underwriting workflows.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and code review skills.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• LSA certification desired but not required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Pega Infinity v24 and Pega DX API integration with Angular.
• Familiarity with Pega on cloud platforms and insurance industry applications.
• Consulting or contract experience across multiple client projects.
