Strategic Technology Institute (STi) is on the lookout for knowledgeable and skilled professionals in the field of Performance/Data Analysis. Join our dynamic team to support the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division (JMD), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) as we contribute to critical homeland security efforts.

In this exciting role, you will leverage advanced analytics and data integration to assist high-priority law enforcement and investigative operations. You will work with complex datasets from various federal bodies such as the DOJ, FBI, DEA, HSI, ATF, IRS-CI, and USAOs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and sustain sophisticated Tableau dashboards and visual analytics products.
• Create and execute SQL, Python, and R queries for effective data extraction and analysis.
• Conduct statistical and trend analysis, generating performance measurement reports.
• Develop predictive models that enhance investigative prioritization.
• Perform data integration and ETL tasks across interagency systems.
• Prepare reports, graphs, charts, and present executive-level briefings.
• Investigate outcomes, asset seizure/forfeiture metrics, and operational performance indicators.
• Meet quarterly and ad hoc reporting demands for DOJ leadership and congressional stakeholders.
• Carry out data quality audits and suggest process enhancements.
• Maintain comprehensive data dictionaries, schemas, and documentation.
• Support automation of reporting and workflow optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related area.
• At least 3 years of hands-on data analytics or data science experience.
• Proficient in:
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Tableau
  • Microsoft Excel
  • R (preferred)
• Experience in handling large datasets and performing statistical analysis.
• Proven ability in developing dashboards and engaging data visualizations.
• Skilled in conveying analytical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Active Secret Clearance is a must.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in roles supporting DOJ, DHS, DoD, or other federal law enforcement agencies.
• Familiarity with investigative or intelligence-related datasets.
• Background in machine learning or predictive analytics.
• Top Secret or TS/SCI eligibility is a plus.
• Experience in ETL pipeline development and data governance.
