We’re looking for a Senior Platform Software Engineer to design and build the tools, platforms, and infrastructure that empower Sanofi’s engineering teams to innovate faster and deliver solutions that improve lives worldwide.

Lyon, France (Hybrid)

Language: English (French a plus)

What you’ll do:

• Design and optimize internal developer platforms that boost productivity and reduce technical overhead.
• Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure, reusable IaC modules, CI/CD templates, and CLI tools.
• Collaborate with product and engineering squads to improve Developer Experience (DX) at scale.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to test and adopt new technologies across Sanofi.
• Provide architectural guidance, cross-team support, and technical documentation.
• Define core abstractions and APIs that become building blocks across global products.
• Champion best practices for reliability, scalability, and security in cloud-native development.

What you’ll bring:

• 5–8 years of experience in software or platform engineering.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/Node.js, with experience building SDKs or internal tools.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / AWS CDK).
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and APIs.
• Collaborative mindset and experience working in international, cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with monitoring, security, and optimization best practices.
