We are looking for a talented Senior Platform Engineer with expertise in Unix/Linux and DevOps to support our Data Centric-Multi-Level Secure® (DC-MLS®) Enterprise team. You will work closely with various teams to deploy and maintain crucial HPC services.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) configurations through Red Hat Satellite and Ansible automation.
• Collaborating with site administrators to troubleshoot and resolve automation and deployment challenges.
• Installing software libraries in RHEL/SE Linux environments to enhance DC-MLS® Enterprise capabilities.
• Monitoring and adjusting DC-MLS® Enterprise systems in an agile setting.
• Partnering with 3rd party vendors to integrate deployment processes.
• Implementing best practices in DevOps to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
• Providing support to teams and end users regarding DC-MLS® Enterprise related issues.
• Creating and optimizing scripts for deployment and operational processes.
• Developing test plans for system upgrades and collaborating with vendors on any arising issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Linux, scripting/software development, and configuration management.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Bash, Ansible, and other shell scripting languages.
• Experience with version control systems (CVS, SVN, Git, GitLab).
• Ability to manage and develop DevOps deployment automation processes.
• Security+ Certification.
• TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance required to start.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with SE Linux configuration and policy management.
• Knowledge of RH Satellite, Lustre, NFS, and other file systems.
• Understanding of Ethernet networking and RDMA communications.
• Experience working with identity management systems, including LDAP.
• Excellent communication skills and a knack for fostering customer relationships.

Security Clearance

• This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Poly
