This position is a unique opportunity to lead the development of a new class of telecommunication satellites.

Job Requirements

• Expert level administration of Linux systems (RHEL, Rocky, SUSE) with a strong focus on high availability, performance tuning, and secure configuration.
• Deep experience with container technologies including Docker and Podman, with strong knowledge of container lifecycle management.
• Proven hands on experience deploying, configuring, and administering OpenShift clusters in production environments.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes orchestration, container networking, and cluster operations.
• Experience implementing CI/CD automation using tools such as GitLab CI or ArgoCD.
• Scripting expertise in ZSH, Python, or similar languages for automation and systems integration.
• Knowledge of security best practices in containerized systems, including user‑namespace mappings (subuid, subgid).
• Language: Fluent English is required; French is a plus.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of KubeVirt for virtualization on Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Exposure to observability stacks, including Prometheus and Grafana.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage, optimize, and maintain Linux‑based systems ensuring high availability, performance, and operational consistency.
• Architect and manage containerized application environments using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• Deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain OpenShift clusters across development and production ecosystems.
• Design, maintain, and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling to streamline container builds, releases, and operational workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux systems, containers, networking, and orchestration layers with a focus on rapid resolution and system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, software engineering, and I.T. teams to enhance scalability and operational efficiency across the platform.
• Contribute to security hardening, compliance, and governance across Linux and containerized environments.
• Other duties as assigned.
