What You’ll Do
As a Project Manager / Product Owner at code.store, you will be responsible for :
- Drive and take full ownership of projects end-to-end, from discovery to delivery;
- Ensure alignment between client needs, business goals, and technical execution;
- Structure and challenge requirements, define clear scopes, and write precise specifications;
- Work closely with developers, QA, designers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery remotely;
- Manage timelines, budgets, and risks;
- Maintain strong client communication and relationships;
- Contribute to presales activities and proposal structuring;
- Continuously improve project practices and team collaboration.
Your Toolbox:
- Project & documentation: Jira, Confluence, Notion;
- Collaboration & visualization: Miro, Excalidraw;
- Design & prototyping: Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq Mockup;
- Productivity: Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office.
Previous Experience:
- 7–10+ years of experience as Project Manager / Product Owner;
- C1 English and French are mandatory, you must be comfortable leading client conversations in both languages. Candidates who are not fully comfortable in either language will not proceed in the interview process;
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and client expectations.
Education & Certifications:
- Educational background in IT, Computer Science, Web, Databases, or Data Analysis;
- Certifications in the IT or project management field (e.g., Scrum - PSPO1 or PSM1, PMP, ITIL) are a plus, or you’re planning to get one soon.
What You’ve Done in Project Management:
- Worked with frameworks like Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum, LeSS, and SAFe;
- Managed project budgets, including:
- Run phase:
- Handling credit/debit tracking (via file or tools);
- Leading backlog refinement sessions.
- Presales phase:
- Structuring tasks and building estimates for the team;
- Leading macro-estimate discussions with tech teams.
- Run phase:
Web & Tech Culture
- Hands-on with CMS platforms like WordPress, PrestaShop, Drupal, Magento;
- Comfortable working with SaaS tools;
- Good understanding of:
- HTML/CSS;
- Databases (MySQL, SQL, etc.);
- SEO (Robots.txt, Sitemap, Structured data, Metadata);
- Accessibility;
- APIs: REST & GraphQL, using Postman or similar tools;
- Caching tools like Memcached, Varnish, or CDN system.
Hiring process:
- 1h interview with HR and a technical prescreening in English. Please note that your answers will be recorded on video and shared with our tech team for further review;
- 1.5h Technical interview with Senior PM;
- 30 min interview with CTO and COO.
