About
The Senior PM BI (Business Intelligence Delivery) is responsible for ensuring the planning, control, and delivery of business projects. He ensures that projects meet the required quality, allocated budget, and schedule for the completion of each stage. He is also responsible for leading and motivating his work team in addition to coordinating projects with clients.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the different activities of a project
- Define the objectives and scope of deliverables in collaboration with various stakeholders and mandataries
- Establish an execution plan and schedule for the project(s) and mobilize contributors, in line with the project development and delivery cycle
- Define and manage efforts and budgeting for associated initiatives
- Identify, define, and submit all change requests when required
- Act as a facilitator for the mandate
- Ensure accountability and report on project progress to the various project governance bodies
- Manage the expectations of management and clients
- Produce project post-mortems and make consequent recommendations
- Ensure the transition of projects to the operational sector, particularly by ensuring the writing of procedures and operational guides for his projects and their transfer to internal team resources and sectors
Qualifications
- Experience with BI – Business Intelligence – Delivery
- Experience with Data Integration / Data Exchange projects
- Experience with Delivery to Production
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field, Master's degree an asset
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in information technology, including 8 to 10 as a project manager
- Experience in managing transformation / business projects (organizational changes, process improvement, work tool changes, software package implementation and integration, data migration/conversion)
- Experience with cross-functional projects with a significant change management component
- Experience managing suppliers (experience with large-scale suppliers an asset)
- Ability to manage expectations and ease of communication with senior executives
- Good understanding of industry best practices, particularly concerning the PMI standard; a PMP certification is a significant asset
- Knowledge and experience in Agile project management, specifically the Scrum framework
- Knowledge of MS-Project
- Demonstrated experience in resource and project team management

- Bilingualism (English and French) advanced oral and written level
Employment Type
Contract – minimum 6 months – renewable
