About
For a long-term mandate in the public sector, we are looking for two experienced Senior PMO profiles to support multiple IT projects in parallel. The role relieves project management of organizational, administrative, and coordination tasks and ensures structured project execution according to established methods.
The two individuals deployed will represent each other, thereby ensuring continuous support for ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Support for multiple project leads in the area of Project Management Office
- Provision, maintenance, and administration of project documentation according to HERMES
- Execution and support in project controlling, especially contracts, costs, invoices, test plans, and reporting
- Planning, organization, and minute-taking of meetings, e.g., core team and committee meetings
- Support with schedule planning, standard reporting, and administrative project tasks
- Setting up and accompanying procurement processes for project resources
- Ensuring the basis for internal and external audits
- Support with WTO/tender processes and project-related procurements
- Planning and coordination of implementations and related measures
- Support with communication measures, e.g., creation of instructions, preparation of information, and stakeholder communication
- Relief of project management through operational and organizational work
- Ensuring knowledge transfer and feedback of project experiences for the further development of internal PMO knowledge management
Requirements
- Several years of in-depth experience in project management or PMO environment
- Demonstrable experience as PMO in large IT projects, ideally with project volumes of CHF 3 million or more
- Very good knowledge of the HERMES project management method
- HERMES certification, at least Foundation; Advanced is an advantage
- Experience with project controlling, reporting, schedule planning, meeting organization, and minute-taking
- Basic business understanding, especially in handling costs, contracts, and invoices
- Experience in creating and maintaining project documentation
- Very good written communication skills in German
- Strong team and communication skills
- Structured, reliable, and independent way of working
- Experience in public administration or comparable regulated environments is an advantage
