As a Senior Principal Data Center Construction Project Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing comprehensive plans that enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence in delivery. You will engage with key stakeholders, manage critical vendor relationships, and navigate complex regulatory compliance. Your foresight in anticipating and mitigating risks will be essential in ensuring project timelines and budgets are met. This high-impact role requires effective coordination across Design, Engineering, and Operations, and spurs on the successful management and delivery of vital initiatives within our strategic roadmap.

In this role, you will oversee various data center-focused projects and initiatives. Effective management of these construction projects is crucial to the success of our customer deliveries. You will directly engage with leaders and project management teams from our Colo and LV partners, driving accountability and improvements to meet our customers' needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of proper design and process documentation, execute on ISP circuit contracts, and update all internal tracking tools for project handover to our operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end program management, developing strategic approaches to achieve desired outcomes throughout delivery.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for data center construction and network projects to align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure design and construction are fully coordinated before contracting.
  • Work with the construction team to ensure seamless collaboration and handoff processes.
  • Oversee all phases of complex data center construction projects, ensuring timely, on-budget completion and compliance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate tenant fit-out projects with the overall project scope throughout design, construction, commissioning, and LV integration.
  • Select, negotiate, and manage external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to contribute to project success.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, optimizing resource use while adhering to financial constraints.
  • Identify potential risks and create effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders while providing regular project status updates.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of construction and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular project visits to monitor schedule, coordination, and quality as necessary throughout the project's lifecycle.

Compensation & Benefits

For your hard work, we offer an attractive compensation package of $97,500 to $199,500 per annum, alongside bonus and equity eligibility.
