Position Overview

Join our dynamic Media & Entertainment team as a Senior Principal Product Manager, focusing on pioneering AI solutions for Autodesk Flow Studio (formerly known as Wonder Studio), our cutting‑edge AI‑powered VFX platform. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of the Flow Studio Team, this role offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with leadership to articulate and implement the vision, strategy, and operational plans for Flow Studio and its review functionalities.
  • Create and manage actionable product roadmaps, prioritizing high‑impact workflows and enhancements while addressing associated risks and dependencies.
  • Act as the primary customer liaison, consistently engaging with clients and partners to inform and validate product strategy, ensuring alignment with their needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UX Designers, Developers, and fellow product managers to ensure cohesive integration of review and content creation capabilities across all tools.
  • Engage in ongoing customer discovery and validation processes to enhance iterative development and maximize outcomes.
  • Monitor global trends in content production and technology, maintaining competitive awareness to drive innovation.
  • Develop a strategy to build a vibrant developer community, encouraging feedback and engagement from production artists and developers.
  • Transform customer requirements and technical challenges into clear story maps and actionable solutions, directing development priorities effectively.
  • Assess technology output by development teams for technical completion, performance, quality, and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in product management or development, with significant exposure to media & entertainment (feature film, animation, or game development).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, with a strong background in computer vision, computational graphics, or generative AI.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Production Management tools, Flow Studio, and competitive AI solutions and workflows in VFX, Animation, or Game pipelines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.
  • Skill in synthesizing data from various sources, making informed trade‑offs, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to engage effectively with executive stakeholders and external customers.
  • Adept at simplifying complex ideas into concise and impactful insights tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record of deploying machine learning models in production environments, ideally within media, entertainment, or creative technology sectors.
  • Strong commitment to ethical AI development and a passion for continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing projects in large organizations and working within Agile/SCRUM environments.
  • Experience in web development on industrial‑scale cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with statistical analytics platforms and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of 3D graphics, rendering pipelines, or real‑time engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya) is a bonus.

Salary Transparency

Salary is just one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For positions based in the U.S., the expected starting base salary ranges from $149,000 to $266,200. Compensation offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographical location, and may exceed this range. Our overall compensation package may also include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits offering.
