Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Process Improvement Engineer to join their industrial operations in Asaba, Delta, NG . This critical role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing improvements to manufacturing and operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC). You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and implement best practices across the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the identification and implementation of process improvements across manufacturing and operational areas.
  • Conducting detailed process analyses, including value stream mapping and root cause analysis.
  • Developing and implementing statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and improve process performance.
  • Facilitating Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase throughput.
  • Developing and delivering training programs on process improvement methodologies to operational staff.
  • Collaborating with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful implementation of improvements.
  • Designing and implementing standardized work procedures and documentation.
  • Measuring and reporting on the key performance indicators (KPIs) of implemented improvements.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and team members in process improvement techniques.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in process optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Full-time dedication on-site in Asaba, Delta, NG, working directly with our operational teams to achieve tangible results.
