About the role

About

We are seeking a Senior Video Producer to lead a diverse portfolio of video content, ranging from high-energy social clips to long-form brand films. In this role, you will be the creative and operational engine that translates organizational goals into emotionally engaging stories. You aren't just managing a checklist; you are shaping the vision for digital campaigns and live events while ensuring every frame supports our long-term strategy.

As a master collaborator, you will partner with Creative Directors and Content Strategists to guide projects from initial concept through final delivery. You will own the day-to-day storytelling process—writing scripts, developing creative briefs, and directing on-location crews. Whether you are conducting deep-dive interviews or capturing authentic, unscripted moments, your focus will be on driving impact and mission-alignment.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. If you excel at managing complex stakeholder feedback and possess the technical and creative prowess to bring ideas to life across multiple platforms, we want you to lead our production efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Creative Directors to align on strategy and develop compelling creative concepts.
  • Lead all aspects of production, including storyboarding, scripting, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
  • Conduct discovery calls, pre-interviews, and on-camera interviews; manage multi-day shoots efficiently.
  • Synthesize and prioritize feedback from multiple stakeholders while maintaining a clear narrative focus.
  • Own production timelines, budgets, and crew management to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate closely with editors, providing clear direction on narrative, visuals, music, and pacing.
  • Identify and pitch new storytelling opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
  • Provide consistent project updates, anticipate challenges, and proactively solve problems.
  • Ask thoughtful, strategic questions to drive clarity, simplicity, and value in every project.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, values-driven team culture.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience producing and directing professional video content, with a focus on digital platforms and storytelling.
  • Strong narrative instincts with the ability to simplify complex ideas into engaging content.
  • Proven ability to operate independently while contributing to a highly collaborative environment.
  • Experience managing post-production workflows and providing creative direction during editing (Adobe Premiere experience is a plus).
  • Background in documentary, social impact, agency, nonprofit, or in-house creative environments is preferred.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, efficiency, and adaptability.
