Senior Product Manager, Ads Billing and Payments
About the role
Role Overview: You will be joining LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) as a Senior Product Manager to lead Ads Billing & Payments from the Bangalore office. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless, transparent, and trustworthy billing experience for advertisers, ultimately impacting activation rates, payment success, revenue recovery, and retention. You will work at the intersection of monetization, SMB activation, global payments, and AI-driven workflows to drive the strategy for advertisers across different scales.
Key Responsibilities: - Set Strategy & Vision: - Define and drive a multi-year strategy for Ads Billing & Payments aligned with LMS growth goals. - Reimagine billing experiences for AI- and agent-powered advertising workflows. - Identify and prioritize friction points impacting activation, spend, and retention.
- Build Scalable Platforms: - Lead product planning across billing surfaces, invoicing systems, payment methods, APIs, and financial account management. - Drive end-to-end product development from concept through launch and iteration. - Partner with engineering on system architecture and API design for scalability and global readiness.
- Drive Business Impact: - Define clear product and business metrics such as activation rate, payment success rate, revenue recovery, and retention. - Utilize data and experimentation to reduce payment friction and drive revenue growth. - Evaluate competitive landscape and global payments trends to inform roadmap decisions.
- Lead Cross-Functional Execution: - Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Finance, Sales, Risk, Legal, Trust, Business Operations, and Product Marketing. - Communicate product vision, tradeoffs, and outcomes clearly to executive stakeholders. - Balance regulatory requirements, fraud mitigation, and advertiser experience.
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - BS degree in a technology-related field. - 10+ years of experience in a product management or equivalent role.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in payments, billing platforms, fintech, SaaS monetization, or advertising systems. - Strong understanding of global payments ecosystems like cards, invoicing, subscriptions, and compliance. - Experience building platform products or API-first systems. - Familiarity with AI-driven workflows or agent-based systems. - Strong analytical and experimentation mindset. - Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through complexity. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
