Senior Product Manager

AACI Group

Boston · Hybrid Full-time Senior Today

About the role

About AACI Group

AACI Group, Inc. is dedicated to making insurance more accessible and affordable in catastrophe‑prone regions. Climate change is increasing the frequency and severity of wildfires and other natural disasters, while carriers are retreating from high‑risk markets. Homeowners are being left with fewer and more expensive options. We are addressing this challenge by building AI‑native insurance agencies and digital services that combine risk data, loss prevention, and innovative product delivery.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to support our Director of Product in managing the end‑to‑end experience for AACI Group’s AI‑native insurance agencies and loss prevention services. You will be our second PM hire and will help shape the product organization, not just fill a seat in it.

You are the ideal candidate if you:

  • Can own an entire product area autonomously
  • Are a builder at heart
  • Possess a high level of grit, responding to obstacles with action instead of waiting to be unblocked
  • Feel comfortable adopting the latest AI technology into your everyday work and incorporating it into the product itself
  • Are nimble enough to adapt to shifting priorities and approaches with ease
  • Embody the “Four I’s” of a strong owner: Intensity, Intuition, Initiative and Imagination

We are building the ship as we are flying it, and need someone who can keep moving forward in the moment while constantly working toward the vision of how we should be operating in the near and long term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside engineering and design counterparts to own the full product lifecycle of concurrent projects across all of AACI’s insurance and digital services platforms (customer‑facing experiences, internal operations tooling, automation and integrations)
  • Use AI‑assisted tools (Claude, Replit, Lovable, etc.) to rapidly prototype and validate concepts without needing engineering resources
  • Maintain sufficient documentation so all vested stakeholders are aware and aligned on what you are building, why, and when
  • Define clear success metrics to ensure accountability across teams
  • Blend quantitative data analysis and qualitative user feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to inform product decisions
  • Collaborate across the entire business to align product development with strategic objectives
  • Ensure the product complies with all local and national regulations and data security best practices

What Success Looks Like in 6 Months

  • Shipped the right products, at the right time, enabling a first‑of‑its‑kind experience
  • Measured the health and success of products through quantifiable data
  • Built strong relationships with leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Established a clear vision for accomplishments in the next 6‑12 months

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience in software or digital services, with at least 2 years in a startup environment
  • Strong preference for candidates who have built both operational and consumer‑facing products and launched products incorporating AI/ML technologies
  • Domain knowledge in insurance and/or fintech is a plus, but rapid ramp‑up ability is essential
  • Demonstrated success managing cross‑functional teams and complex roadmaps with quantifiable results impacting the top or bottom line
  • Ability to “build the right product” (critical & strategic thinking) and “build the product right” (technical & detailed execution)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence all key stakeholders
  • Drive to continuously improve as a product manager, humility to receive feedback, and compassion to offer radical candor
  • Comfort finding data needed to make informed decisions
  • Experience prototyping and building lightweight MVPs using various AI tools
  • Full‑time US work authorization required

Location, Compensation, and Reporting

  • Based in Boston, MA; expected to work in our Downtown Boston office 2‑3 days per week
  • Reports to the Director of Product
  • Competitive salary with a meaningful equity package
  • Benefits include health and dental insurance and 401(k) matching
