Senior Product Manager

Qualifications

• Completed technical degree (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) with a solid business background
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in B2B product management within the automotive industry, with a clear focus on EAS products
• Proven experience in managing complex product and platform portfolios in an international environment (leading project / products)
• Fluent in English (minimum C1 level), spoken and written
• Strong communication skills as well as a structured, analytical, and proactive working style
• Experience in collaboration with international markets, especially the APAC region, is an advantage
• Customer experience (Automotive OEMs)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a forward-looking global product strategy for Entry & Authorization Systems (EAS)
• Full responsibility for the product lifecycle – from market analysis and product specification to market launch and continuous improvement
• Build, maintain, and further develop an innovative and competitive product portfolio in the field of vehicle access and interior systems
• Collaborate closely with international, cross-functional teams in R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Production
• Create solid business cases, pricing strategies, and portfolio analyses to support strategic decision-making
• Support the development of sales strategies as well as the design of product training and training materials

This role involves frequent travel (up to 50% of working time) to other Marquardt locations, depending on business needs.
