Project Coordinator
OAKBRIDGE CAPITAL LIMITED
About the role
About
We’re hiring a Project Coordinator to support a growing operations team working across multiple client projects. This role sits between teams—making sure work is scheduled properly, updates are shared, and nothing gets missed as projects move from planning through to delivery.
It’s a role for someone who is organised, follows through, and is comfortable being the person who keeps things on track when everyone else is focused on their own part.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Building and maintaining simple project timelines (not complex systems—clear and workable plans)
- Checking in with internal teams on progress and upcoming deadlines
- Coordinating diaries, site schedules, and key project milestones
- Keeping notes from meetings and making sure actions are followed up
- Spotting when something is slipping and raising it early
- Acting as a central point of contact between different teams and stakeholders
Typical Day
- Morning check-in on active projects and priorities
- Following up on actions from the previous day or week
- Updating trackers and sharing short progress updates
- Speaking with team members to confirm timelines or flag issues
- Adjusting schedules if something changes last minute
What Tends to Work Well in This Role
- Someone who naturally keeps lists, tracks details, and follows things through
- Comfortable chasing updates without overcomplicating conversations
- Able to stay calm when plans shift or timelines move
- Good at keeping communication clear and to the point
- Experience using tools like Excel, project trackers, or shared systems is helpful
What’s on Offer
- Full-time position based in Essex
- Salary depending on experience
- Training on internal systems and processes
- A role where you can see the direct impact of your work
- Opportunity to move into more senior coordination or project roles over time
This isn’t a strategy role—it’s about keeping projects moving and making sure the details are handled properly. If that’s where you do your best work, it’s worth applying.
