Senior Product Manager

You will join the sourcing optimization team, which helps procurement teams compare complex bids, model total landed cost, and make faster, high-confidence award decisions. In this role, you will contribute directly to enhancing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction across Walmart's enterprise sourcing platform.

Role and Responsibilities of Senior Product Manager:

You will own core capabilities in Walmart's sourcing optimization and costing suite, leading the end-to-end delivery of features that compress multi-week analysis into near-real-time recommendations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure decisions are explainable and trusted by stakeholders.

• Lead delivery of sourcing features, including current-state analysis, cost breakdowns, scenario modeling, and optimization
• Partner with data science and engineering teams to expose assumptions, inputs, and trade-offs
• Define and track KPIs, run experiments, and iterate quickly to improve outcomes
• Integrate capabilities into procurement workflows and supplier interactions with minimal disruption
• Write concise product requirement documents, decision memos, and release notes for alignment across teams
• Collaborate with business partners to identify future needs and requirements
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in product management and execution

Required Skills and Experience of Senior Product Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5 years of experience in product management, or 7 years of equivalent experience
• Strong analytical skills with experience in optimization, analytics, experiments, and telemetry
• Proficiency in structured communication to translate complex analysis into clear decisions
• Ownership mindset with the ability to set goals, manage risk, and adjust quickly to deliver results
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 4 years of experience managing large-scale, complex, consumer-facing products
• Experience in procurement, sourcing events, total cost modeling, or pricing/optimization tools
• Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards, and using assistive technologies
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple locations
