Senior Product Manager

Our client, a fast-paced technology company at the forefront of innovation, is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join their fully remote, global product team. This role is pivotal in defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key product lines, driving product success from conception through launch and iteration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver exceptional products that meet user needs and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, market dynamics, and customer insights. You will be responsible for conducting market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify opportunities and define product requirements. This is a strategic role requiring excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. As a Senior Product Manager in a remote-first environment, you will leverage collaboration tools and methodologies to foster effective teamwork and drive product initiatives forward. Responsibilities include: Defining and owning the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned product areas. Conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment. Translating product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and product specifications. Prioritizing features and backlog items based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility. Collaborating closely with engineering and design teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Working with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning. Launching new products and features, and iterating based on user feedback and performance data. Monitoring product performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement. Acting as a subject matter expert for your product areas, both internally and externally. Mentoring junior product managers and contributing to the growth of the product management practice. Managing stakeholder expectations and communicating product updates effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching successful technology products. Deep understanding of agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from data. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. Experience in user research, market analysis, and competitive intelligence. Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Productboard). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Nigeria.
