Senior Product Manager - Beauty Tech

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for their innovative beauty technology products. This hybrid role, based in **Onitsha, Anambra, NG**, offers a unique opportunity to blend deep market understanding with technological innovation to create impactful beauty solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product management, a passion for the beauty industry, and a keen understanding of emerging technologies. You will be responsible for defining product vision, gathering market and user requirements, prioritizing features, and working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to bring successful products to market. Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization through development, launch, and iteration. You will champion the user experience, ensuring our products delight consumers and meet their evolving needs in the beauty and wellness space. A proven track record of launching successful technology products, preferably in consumer electronics or SaaS, is essential. Key responsibilities:Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for beauty technology products. Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap based on market opportunities, customer needs, and business objectives. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify unmet needs and emerging trends in beauty tech. Translate product strategy into detailed product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications. Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery. Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and launch plans. Define and analyze key product metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Manage the product backlog and effectively prioritize features based on impact and effort. Act as a product evangelist, communicating the product vision and value proposition to internal and external stakeholders. Stay abreast of advancements in beauty technology, AI, IoT, and other relevant fields. Manage product lifecycle from ideation through end-of-life. Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback for product iteration. Foster strong cross-functional relationships and drive alignment across departments. Manage external partnerships and integrations related to product development. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree is a plus. 5+ years of experience in product management, with a demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing technology products. Passion for and understanding of the beauty and wellness industry. Experience with consumer-facing technology products, beauty tech, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong understanding of product management methodologies (Agile, Scrum). Excellent market research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to define product strategy, roadmap, and requirements. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales. Experience with data analysis and using metrics to drive product decisions. Familiarity with emerging technologies like AI, AR/VR, IoT is a plus. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
