About the role

About PARSA Beauty

PARSA Beauty is a German family-owned company headquartered in Sinsheim, Baden-Württemberg, and has stood for exclusive, innovative, and high-quality hair and beauty tools as well as accessories for 40 years. With a product range of over 5,000 items, over 100 million products sold annually, and a presence in over 35 countries, the company is the European market leader in its industry. In the core sales channels of drugstores and specialty retailers, as well as in food retail, we offer innovative and sustainable beauty helpers with high product quality in the Hair, Face, Nails, Home Spa, and Trend segments.

Responsibilities

  • You develop marketable product and promotion concepts for the discount channel, identify trends early on, and translate them into economically successful product ranges.
  • You continuously analyze and optimize existing articles and collections – with a focus on market performance, costs, quality, and customer requirements.
  • You independently conduct price, cost, and condition negotiations with international suppliers, obtain samples, certificates, and approvals, and ensure delivery capability, quality, and margins.
  • You manage the entire product development process end-to-end: from the initial idea through sample development, costing, and packaging to the POS layout.
  • In close cooperation with sales, you ensure that the product range, packaging, price, and timing are optimally aligned with the requirements of discount customers.
  • You are responsible for product costing, maintain product data, reports, and documentation, and ensure transparency and decision-making bases.
  • Through store checks, trade fair visits, and market observations, you identify relevant trends and systematically translate them into concrete product and assortment measures.
  • If necessary, you travel to international suppliers – especially to Asia – to drive developments, ensure quality, and further expand partnerships.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in product management, purchasing, or category management, ideally in the FMCG, beauty, jewelry, or lifestyle sector – preferably with discount experience.
  • A completed degree in business administration, marketing, product management, design, or a comparable qualification.
  • A strong passion for beauty accessories, jewelry, or lifestyle products, as well as a very good feel for trends, target groups, and marketable implementation.
  • Confident negotiation skills, confident handling of costs, quality, and delivery times, as well as demonstrable experience in project and product management.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and a hands-on mentality: You understand what drives end consumers in the discount sector and implement creative ideas pragmatically and results-oriented.
  • A structured, analytical approach that convinces from costing to customer presentations.
  • Very good English skills and willingness to travel to advance projects and supplier relationships internationally.
