In our Solutions area, we develop independent AWS-based product offerings – including our Contact Center and Conversational AI portfolio around Amazon Connect. For this area, we are now looking for a person who acts as a strategic mind, product owner, and bridge builder between the market, customers, and technology.
The Role
As a (Senior) Product Manager - Contact Center & Conversational AI (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for our Contact Center solution portfolio – from strategic further development, presales, and partner management to commercial control. You will work closely with our Cloud Consultants and development teams and be the link between AWS, our customers, and the market. This is not a classic sales job – nor is it a pure tech job. It is a role for people who like both: strategic foresight and direct customer contact.
Your Tasks
Solution Strategy & Product Development
- You will strategically develop our Contact Center and AI solution portfolio and give it a clear roadmap.
- You will identify new market opportunities – e.g., via the AWS Marketplace, managed service offerings, or new partnerships.
- You will keep an eye on market trends and competition and derive growth strategies from them.
Presales & Customer Relations
- You will conduct initial meetings with potential customers, identify their needs, and propose the appropriate solution.
- You will create compelling offers, presentations, and proof-of-concepts together with our consultants.
- You will build long-term customer relationships and identify potential for further development (upselling).
AWS Partner Relationship
- You will be the main point of contact for AWS in the Contact Center area and actively maintain the partner relationship.
- You will represent tecRacer in AWS partner programs, at events, and trade fairs.
- You will ensure that we meet relevant certifications and program requirements.
Commercial Control
- You will plan and monitor the economic key figures of your solution area (revenue, costs, utilization).
- You will develop pricing models for marketplace and managed service offerings.
- You will work closely with Finance and Administration to properly invoice projects.
No experience with Amazon Connect? No problem! Anyone with a background in Conversational AI, AI/ML, Contact Center, or AWS is welcome to apply.
What You Should Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in business development, presales, consulting, or product management – ideally in the IT or cloud environment
- Basic understanding of AWS and cloud technologies
- Experience in dealing with customers and partners at the decision-maker level
- Strategic thinking combined with a sense for commercial contexts
- Strong communication skills in German and English – you can explain technical topics understandably
- Independent work and a desire to actively drive things forward
That Would Be Nice, But Is Not a Must:
- Background in Conversational AI, Contact Center, NLP, or related fields
- Experience with Amazon Connect or similar Contact Center platforms
- AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate) or Scrum Product Owner
- Knowledge of AWS partner programs and the AWS Marketplace
- Willingness to travel (approx. 20% for customer appointments, events, and trade fairs)
