Our product development is handled by the Products & Engineering Department, consisting of 15 cross-functional product teams distributed across three product domains (Consumer, Business, and Platform), working in an agile environment.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager (f/m/d) for our Core Services Team (limited to 17 months) – someone who thrives in technically complex environments, enjoys diving deep into backend systems, and is eager to support other product teams in developing and scaling products efficiently. Your Responsibilities

As Senior Product Manager for Core Services, you will define the long-term vision and strategy for fundamental backend capabilities that support multiple products simultaneously. You will work closely with Engineering, Data, and stakeholders from various product teams, ensuring our platform is reliable, scalable, and creates measurable value for the company.

• Take responsibility for shared platform services and central system functions such as backend frameworks, APIs, authentication & authorization, and user/permission management.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of platform services across all products.
• Define and maintain technical standards that enable consistent and efficient development across all product teams.
• Collaborate closely with dependent product teams to understand their requirements and prioritize platform initiatives based on their impact.
• Translate technical KPIs (e.g., system performance, uptime, scalability) into business value and communicate the impact clearly to stakeholders.
• Align with your Group Product Manager on roadmap, dependencies, and the overall technical company strategy.
• Make strategic decisions on technical capabilities, trade-offs, and service improvements, balancing long-term scalability with short-term business needs.

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager responsible for market launches or the delivery of business-critical features – ideally in a SaaS or platform environment.
• High technical affinity and willingness to dive deep into infrastructure, APIs, and backend systems.
• Strategic thinking combined with the ability to deliver real value pragmatically and incrementally.
• Outcome-oriented mindset: You consistently connect decisions, user needs, business value, and company goals.
• Ability to translate technical metrics and KPIs into understandable statements of business impact.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in defining and interpreting technical KPIs.
• Growth mindset: Willingness to learn, adaptability, and continuous development.
• Confidence in handling ambiguity and changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Very good communication and stakeholder management skills in an international, cross-functional environment.
• Excellent English skills; German is a plus.
