Position Overview

The Senior Product Manager for Client Advocacy is an experienced professional within our Payment Optimization team. This role serves as a trusted advisor, focusing on our largest enterprise merchants. By leveraging expertise in payment authorizations and acceptance, you will help improve merchant performance and revenue while shaping product direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary advocate for enterprise clients, concentrating on improving authorization performance and acceptance optimization.
  • Conduct in-depth client analyses using transaction data to pinpoint drivers of approval rates and discover opportunities for enhancement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on card network regulations, issuer behaviors, authorization decline reasons, and strategies for optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to support revenue growth through data-driven insights and high-level discussions with clients.
  • Assist in complex enterprise implementations by analyzing performance metrics, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Convert merchant feedback and analytics into actionable product opportunities, working with Product Management to influence development priorities.
  • Enhance reporting and dashboard capabilities by partnering with Technology and Analytics teams.
  • Foster strong relationships across Product, Technology, Sales, and Implementation teams to ensure alignment.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in payments, analytics, consulting, or a similar field, showcasing senior-level skills.
  • Deep knowledge of authorization flows, issuer behavior, card networks (Visa/Mastercard), and strategies for acceptance optimization.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a strong command of Excel and experience in handling large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and enterprise clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change and drive outcomes across teams without direct authority.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills aimed at executive engagement.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with Visa, Mastercard, issuers, or acquirers.
  • Familiarity with SQL or eagerness to learn SQL for enhanced data analysis.
  • Experience with AI or GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve analytical processes.

Compensation:

Salary range $120,000.00 - $198,000.00

This range applies for employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay scales for employees in other states may vary.
