About the Role:

The Data Solutions & Instrumentation (DSI) team is in search of a Senior Product Manager to lead instrumentation and measurement efforts within the News & Entertainment portfolio. This role serves as the product owner, taking charge of defining and delivering measurement solutions that fuel analytics, reinforce content performance insights, and bolster reporting for executive stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will not only focus on execution but also encompass strategic elements, ensuring your impact resonates across the organization by improving data measurement reliability and enhancing product performance through insightful integration.

Responsibilities: • Lead Instrumentation and Measurement: Own and oversee data quality, integrity, and usability for specific instrumentation domains. • Develop Measurement Strategies: Formulate comprehensive measurement strategies that address both immediate and long-term analytics needs. • Translate Business Needs: Convert complex stakeholder requirements into straightforward measurement specifications that drive actionable insights. • Oversee Implementation: Manage the complete lifecycle of instrumentation, ensuring that all measurement solutions are implemented precisely and validated thoroughly. • Configure Measurement Platforms: Engage directly with platforms like Adobe Analytics and Comscore, ensuring accurate setups for robust data analysis. • Ensure Data Quality: Actively identify and resolve data inconsistencies and quality issues to maintain stakeholder trust in our measurement solutions. • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Engineering, Analytics, and QA teams to ensure successful implementation of measurement strategies. • Utilize Data for Improvement: Analyze usage metrics to find enhancement opportunities in our measurement solutions. • Streamline Processes: Discover and implement ways to improve instrumentation workflows and documentation. • Communicate Clearly: Articulate measurement strategies and data implications to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Mentorship: Provide guidance to other Product Managers on measurement strategies and data practices. • Drive Measurable Impact: Take accountability for ensuring that measurement work leads to tangible value across analytics and business decision-making.

Qualifications:

Basic: • 5+ years of experience in data-centric Product Management or a related field. • Proven track record of managing instrumentation and analytics, ensuring usability and impactful outcomes. • Strong grasp of defining KPIs and success metrics in ambiguous scenarios. • Deep knowledge of measurement ecosystems and responsibilities across digital platforms. • Experience with tools like Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics. • Technical proficiency in handling data issues and validation. • Ability to coordinate effectively across various teams. • Proficient in SQL/Python for data-related tasks. • Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences. • Experience in Agile environments with evolving data requirements. • Bachelor's Degree required.

Preferred: • Experience in media or content-driven digital products. • Familiarity with cloud-based data pipelines. • Strong understanding of data governance and privacy regulations. • Experience in standardizing analytics and reporting frameworks. • Capability to improve documentation and validation processes. • Advanced degree in relevant fields is a plus.

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $148,700 to $199,400, with the final pay reflecting internal equity, candidate qualifications, and market factors. Additional compensation may include bonuses, long-term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.
