The Data Services Senior Product Manager will be responsible for helping Anywhere build and enhance a robust data infrastructure so that we can leverage the power of the data we have to deliver world-class experiences for our real estate agents and home buyers. You will work as an individual contributor that has high impact and visibility across the organization by driving a cross-functional, nimble team forward to enable access to data across all applications and products to drive real business results. The ideal candidate for this role has built a data platform in the past and transitioned to a Product Manager role.

What you’ll do:

• Provide business input into the development of Anywhere’s data strategy which includes enhancing our data lake, data ingestion, API portfolio, MDM strategy, and Machine Learning vision supporting Anywhere’s B2B as well as B2C experience.
• Own and manage product roadmap, stories, and features.
• Oversee day-to-day product functionality and own improvement projects.
• Prepare, groom, and prioritize product requirements.
• Act as SME for data integrations and data lake framework.
• Coordinate the collection, description, analysis, and prioritization of requests for data integration into the data lake.
• Work closely with the Tech, Engineering and Data teams to develop the data architecture and framework and assess new business opportunities leveraging the data we have.
• Review and approve data dictionaries and other required technical project assets.
• Develop standard operating procedures and support documents to troubleshoot any production issues.
• Prepare reports, recommendations, general documentation, and program status reports as needed.
• Engage with cross-organization stakeholders, including client-agency teams, operations teams, and engineers, as needed to support data products.
• Continually research industry trends on improving data utilization, consumption, and management.
• Develop release notes, user guides, support documentation, presentations for executives, and reporting out of success metrics, usage, and adoption.
• Understanding of legal and compliance requirements around data usage and sharing.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 7+ years of experience developing and enhancing a data engineering, data platform strategy for a consumer-facing company.
• Experience working in product management organization with the ability to develop roadmaps and strategic alignment to measurable goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills.
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
• Strong experience in Data Architecture & Data Management, including full lifecycle understanding of Data entities, Master Data and Reference Data.
• Strong experience with modern data platform architecture such as Data Mesh, Lake House, Lambda, Kappa, and Realtime Data Ingestion.
• Experience documenting functional and non-functional requirements of data platform and thinking through all scenarios to support a large-scale data platform and API strategy.
• Comfort navigating both very technical and non-technical peers and partners.
• Experience working in scrum-based Agile development methodology.
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, POSTMAN, AWS.
• Solid understanding of Data Lake, Data Ingestion, Delta Lake, Airflow, Parquet, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, MDM, and RDM required.
• Real estate experience is not required but desired.

Compensation Range

$140,000 - $190,000 At Anywhere, actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
