Senior Product Manager - SaaS Platform

Our client, a leading innovator in the SaaS industry, is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Product Manager to spearhead the development and growth of their flagship platform. This role is pivotal in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with market needs and company objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver exceptional product experiences that delight customers and drive business success. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of agile methodologies, market analysis, and product lifecycle management, with a proven ability to translate complex requirements into compelling product solutions. Responsibilities: Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SaaS platform. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify new opportunities and validate product hypotheses. Prioritize features and initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility. Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams. Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch. Manage the product backlog and ensure efficient sprint planning and execution using agile methodologies. Develop go-to-market strategies and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches. Define and track key product metrics (KPIs) to measure product performance and inform future iterations. Act as a subject matter expert for the product, supporting sales, customer success, and support teams. Gather and synthesize customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and new feature development. Mentor junior product managers and contribute to the growth of the product management practice within the organization. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management. Ensure product development aligns with company-wide strategic goals and objectives. Champion the customer throughout the product development process, advocating for user needs and experience. Effectively communicate product strategy and updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on SaaS products. Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling software products. Deep understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders. Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) and user research methodologies. Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience in defining product strategy and creating detailed product roadmaps. Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and hybrid work environment. Must be located within commuting distance to Abeokuta, Ogun, NG for required in-office collaboration days.
