Position Summary

Own core capabilities in our sourcing optimization and costing suite that help procurement teams compare complex bids, model total landed cost, and make faster, higher‑confidence award decisions—directly inside our enterprise sourcing platform.

What you'll do

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of features like current‑state analysis, cost breakdowns, scenario modeling, and optimization—compressing multi‑week analysis into near‑real‑time recommendations.
  • Make decisions explainable—partner with data science and engineering to expose assumptions, inputs, and trade‑offs in a way stakeholders can trust.
  • Prove outcomes—define and track KPIs (analysis cycle time, adoption, savings realized), run experiments, and iterate quickly.
  • Drive integrations and change‑management—land capabilities within procurement workflows and supplier interactions with minimal disruption.
  • Write to decide—concise PRDs, decision memos, and release notes that keep diverse stakeholders aligned.

What you'll bring

  • Curiosity + analytical depth—strong problem framing; comfortable working with optimization/analytics, experiments, and telemetry.
  • Procurement/RFx domain familiarity—experience with sourcing events, total cost modeling, or pricing/optimization tools is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 7 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and commitment to creating accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines.
