What You Can Contribute With Us:

As a Strategic Product Manager, you will be responsible for the holistic management of our IoT and automation portfolio – from strategic direction and market launch to successful market development. You will be responsible for achieving key performance indicators, such as revenue and sales, as well as adhering to the product roadmap in terms of time and budget. You will act as a central interface between the market, customers, sales, development, and management, making a significant contribution to the sustainable growth of our company.

Your Tasks:

• Strategic portfolio management
• Planning and control of the product lifecycle
• Evaluation of product ideas including business cases
• Creation of sales, revenue, and profit analyses across the product portfolio
• Continuous market and competitor analysis as well as monitoring of technology trends
• Conception of value-based pricing models for different sales channels and target industries
• Accompanying the market launch of new products and services
• Continuous product and process optimization in coordination with specialist departments
• Participation in strategic marketing and sales concepts

You Are a Perfect Fit For Us If You Have:

• Successfully completed studies in engineering or industrial engineering
• Several years (8+ years) of experience in product management, ideally in the field of IoT and automation technology
• Industry knowledge and a good network in plant and mechanical engineering, the energy sector, infrastructure, or intralogistics
• In-depth knowledge of Linux-based systems and their use in industrial solutions
• A pronounced understanding of industrial systems and technologies (controllers, edge devices, cloud architectures), ideally with experience in using open-source solutions
• A basic understanding of common programming languages and frameworks (such as Python, C/C++, Java, JavaScript)
• Experience in developing successful market strategies and in product lifecycle management
• Knowledge in the use of AI and data-driven technologies, e.g., for product optimization or new digital business models
• Strategic foresight combined with pragmatic implementation strength
• A pronounced understanding of the market and customers, as well as entrepreneurial thinking
• Confident communication and persuasive skills at all levels
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
