The Amazon Music Personalization and AI Innovation team’s vision is to offer Amazon customers delightfully personalized audio experiences by building world class customer and language understanding, content recommendations and experience optimization platforms. As a team, we play multiple roles at Amazon Music - one, we develop sophisticated models, scaled platforms, and flexible capabilities, offer them to internal teams, and experiment with them across experiences to improve the quality.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a strategy for becoming the world's most personalized audio streaming service.
• Lead strategy across two core teams: infrastructure and capabilities for incubation, experimentation, and scaling; and quality assessment approaches for customer experience understanding.
• Work with scientists, engineers, program managers, and cross-functional partners to understand needs, define vision and strategy, prioritize, invest in next generation models and features, and deploy them to improve personalization.
• Aid in the development and growth of the product team and overall office in Berlin.
• Run prioritization discussions with the local team, conduct technical deep dives, and help launch experiments.
• Conduct product discovery to understand internal and external customer problems and write documents proposing ambitious solutions and ideas.
• Lead strategy and execution to deliver value for Amazon Music.
• Interact with internal customers on the US west coast and attend cross-organizational team meetings.
• Travel to LA/SF/Seattle offices to meet partners approximately twice a year.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience in technical product management, program management, or engineering.
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience with end to end product delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements.
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
• Demonstrated experience driving product roadmap and strategy at scale.
• Experience working with scaled GenAI applications.
