Now, we’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, France to help us win in one of the most competitive and fast-evolving markets in Europe. This is not a traditional PMM role. This is a strategic growth role at the heart of our ambition to scale Sage Active in France, defining how we compete, how we differentiate, and how we drive real commercial impact in an AI-first world. You will shape who we target, what we sell, why we win, and how we grow in a market where competition is intense and the rules are being rewritten by AI and embedded finance.

This role is hybrid and based 3 days a week in our Paris or Bordeaux office.
What You’ll Be Doing? As our Senior Product Marketing Manager for France, you will play a strategic role; owning the connection between product, market, and revenue.
You will define and execute the strategy that drives growth for Sage Active in France, including: • Defining where Sage Active wins in France: target segments, ICPs, and highest-value opportunities. • Turning customer and market insight into clear strategic decisions (not reports). • Owning category positioning and differentiation vs competitors (e.g. Pennylane, Regate). • Building value propositions that connect product capabilities to real customer outcomes. • Defining and evolving pricing and packaging aligned to value and willingness-to-pay. • Creating messaging architectures and narratives that drive clarity across Product, Sales, and Marketing. • Ensuring all messaging is validated with evidence, testing, and real customer feedback. • Providing GTM direction (who, why, what, how) to RTR/Growth teams — not execution. • Influencing product strategy by bringing market reality into roadmap decisions. • You will work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and execution at speed.
About You You’re a product marketer who loves the intersection of product, strategy and customer. You understand what makes the French market unique, and you know how to translate global vision into local relevance. You’re comfortable partnering across functions, managing multiple priorities, and making decisions backed by data and insight.
You likely bring: • 5+ years experience in Product Marketing, Product Strategy, or similar roles in SaaS, fintech, or software • A strong track record of defining positioning, GTM strategies, and driving measurable business impact • Deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs, ideally within the French SMB ecosystem • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders in complex, matrix organisations • Ability to translate data and insight into clear strategic decisions and actions • Strong storytelling skills- grounded in evidence, not opinion • High curiosity and comfort working with AI tools to enhance insight, messaging, and performance • Fluency in French and English • You’re comfortable with ambiguity, biased towards action, and motivated by building things that win in the market.
