About the Role

Our client, an established iGaming platform provider, is looking for a Senior Product Owner to take ownership of their platform’s compliance and regulatory product domains. This is a hands‑on, senior‑level position within the Product function, reporting directly to the Product Manager. The Senior Product Owner will be responsible for driving the development, prioritisation, and delivery of key platform areas including PAM, Back Office, KYC, Safer Gambling, Regulatory Integrations, and Reporting.

This Senior Product Owner role is fully remote and open to candidates based anywhere in the EU. It sits at the intersection of product delivery and regulatory compliance, making it ideal for someone who thrives on translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product outcomes.

You will work across multiple development teams and collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Engineering, Account Management, and operational stakeholders to ensure that the platform meets both customer needs and the demands of highly regulated markets.

As a senior member of the product team, you will also mentor junior product owners, support product management with scoping complex development work, and step in for the Product Manager when required. This is a role for someone who can operate with autonomy, bring clarity to ambiguity, and deliver high‑quality product solutions in a fast‑moving B2B iGaming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams spanning Business Analysis, Engineering, and Account Management to ensure that product enhancements deliver measurable value and align with market needs.
  • Gather and analyse feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to shape the product roadmap and inform feature development.
  • Working closely with business analysts, define new platform requirements, map operator journeys, and scope new market entries.
  • Define user stories and acceptance criteria for new features, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic product goals.
  • In the compliance domain specifically, define acceptance criteria for regulatory reporting, data mapping of platform data into regulatory integrations and APIs, and ensure that governance processes are followed between stakeholders and clients, even where regulatory requirements are ambiguous or evolving.
  • Lead multiple development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features, resolving blockers as they arise.
  • Backlog ownership is central to the role. Develop and prioritise product backlogs and roadmaps for your teams, ensuring alignment with the strategic roadmap and wider business objectives.
  • Maintain backlog health by ensuring user stories are estimated, refined, and meet the definition of ready ahead of each sprint.
  • End‑to‑end feature validation is your responsibility. Define and execute test scenarios across all key use cases, ensuring that what is delivered works as intended and meets the acceptance criteria set out in each ticket.
  • When incidents or Tier 2 issues arise, prioritise and deliver fixes with development teams in line with agreed service levels.
  • Communication is key. Keep internal stakeholders and clients informed of product updates, incorporating feedback into the development process to ensure enhancements meet both customer expectations and business goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • The ideal candidate for this Senior Product Owner role will bring a blend of deep iGaming platform knowledge and strong product ownership skills.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Senior Product Owner or Product Owner role within the iGaming industry.
  • Hands‑on experience with two or more of the following iGaming platform domains: PAM, KYC, Responsible Gaming Tools, Regulatory Reporting and Integrations.
  • Proven experience launching and optimising iGaming B2B and B2C products in highly regulated markets.
  • Track record of managing multiple development teams, backlog management, and delivering product outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across both business and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality product solutions in the listed platform domains.
  • Strong problem‑solving and structured thinking, with a data‑informed approach to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a clear focus on following issues through to resolution.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent practical experience in the iGaming industry.

Advantageous

  • Knowledge and experience of AI‑driven technology and its application within iGaming platforms.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe in a multi‑team environment.
  • Familiarity with data mapping and API integration in the context of regulatory compliance.
