Job Summary:

The Product Owner will play a critical role within Credit Services, leading AI-focused product initiatives aimed at improving productivity, streamlining manual processes, and driving operational efficiency across the lending platform. This individual will partner closely with Engineering, Credit Risk, and Operations teams to identify workflow inefficiencies, define business requirements, and help execute AI-enabled solutions that deliver measurable business impact.

The contract is expected to run through the end of the year, supporting a broader long-term AI transformation initiative within Credit Services. The role is based at 240 Greenwich with a 4-day hybrid onsite schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define, lead, and continuously refine AI product strategies and roadmaps focused on high-value initiatives that improve decision-making, reduce manual work, and enhance both client and employee experiences.
• Workflow Analysis & Business Requirements: Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing manual processes and operational inefficiencies, identify automation opportunities, and translate business needs into actionable product and technical requirements.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Partner closely with Engineering, Credit Risk, and Operations teams to develop and deploy AI-enabled solutions while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
• Product Lifecycle Ownership: Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management from discovery and requirements gathering through delivery, deployment, scaling, and iteration in agile environments.
• AI Deployment & Adoption: Support AI implementation efforts by helping teams integrate AI capabilities into existing workflows, improving lender productivity and operational efficiency across Credit Services.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key business leaders, lenders, technical teams, and control partners to gather feedback, prioritize initiatives, communicate progress, and manage competing priorities.
• Independent Problem Solving: Quickly learn organizational structures, identify pain points, engage key stakeholders, and independently drive solutions with minimal oversight from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
• Advanced degree such as an MBA preferred
• 5–8+ years of experience within Financial Services environments
• Strong product ownership or product management experience within regulated industries
• Experience partnering directly with Engineering teams to deliver and deploy solutions, not solely strategy or conceptual planning
• Proven ability to manage backlogs, prioritize initiatives, define requirements, and execute within cross-functional environments
• Strong understanding of AI concepts including machine learning, NLP/LLMs, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation
• Experience translating operational challenges into scalable technology solutions
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative product delivery
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to operate independently, quickly understand business problems, and drive execution with limited direction

Preferred Experience

• AI deployment or AI implementation experience within enterprise environments
• Credit Services, lending, or broader credit risk experience within Financial Services
• Experience supporting operational transformation or productivity improvement initiatives
• Exposure to regulated AI governance and compliance frameworks
• Experience developing KPI/OKR frameworks tied to operational efficiency and adoption metrics
