For our client, a world-leading company in the diagnostics industry based in Rotkreuz, we are seeking a highly motivated and solution-oriented individual to fill the role of Senior Production Engineer. As part of a global network, you will be responsible for the proactive design, optimization, and maintenance of production processes for complex diagnostic systems.

• Working from home: Possible to a limited extent (approx. 1–3 days per month)
• Travel activity: Occasional (approx. 10–20%, to Germany)

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Coordination of technical changes: Responsibility for the planning, technical evaluation and implementation of changes (ECR) in close coordination with the Product Leader and Sub-Chapter Lead.
• Documentation management: Creation and maintenance of specification and test documents, work plans, material master data and bills of materials (BOM).
• Production support: Ensuring smooth incoming and outgoing control of changes in production, as well as conducting training on new documents.
• Process optimization: Proactive control and communication to ensure the timely completion of change processes, as well as management of smaller projects (e.g., continuous improvement or harmonization).
• Development support: Assistance with the creation of samples and prototypes, coordination of required materials and feedback on manufacturability (Design for Manufacturing).
• Compliance & Quality: Ensuring adherence to quality objectives, deadlines and regulatory requirements (GMP) for product manufacturing.
• Interface management: Active collaboration within an international matrix organization (locations in Germany, Switzerland, and the USA).

Qualifications

• Education: Completed technical studies (University of Applied Sciences) or further training as a state-certified technician in the fields of technology, automation technology or a related discipline.
• Professional Experience: Senior Level: At least 5 years of experience in the assembly, testing, and repair of medical diagnostic equipment
• Technical expertise: Experience in transferring new projects into production, designing production lines, and building and repairing complex mechatronic systems.
• Regulatory environment: Solid experience working under GMP conditions, ideally in the field of regulated medical devices.
• Methodological competence: Proven experience in complex process coordination as well as in change and stakeholder management.
• Language skills: Fluent German and English skills (both spoken and written) are essential for international cooperation.
• Soft Skills: Team player with a strong service mentality, high personal responsibility and the flexibility to actively improve structures in a dynamic environment.
