Senior Production Engineer

Our client, a renowned automotive supplier, is seeking an experienced Senior Production Engineer to optimize and further develop its manufacturing processes at the Traiskirchen site. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring production processes to ensure high efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor production processes to ensure high efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze existing production workflows, identify areas for improvement, and develop/implement optimization measures.
• Collaborate closely with production staff, quality management, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations and achieve production targets.
• Introduce new manufacturing technologies, manage investment projects, and train employees.
• Create technical documentation, work instructions, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Sound knowledge in manufacturing technology, especially in the automotive sector.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and automated production systems.
• Ideally, a completed technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in production planning and control, ideally in the automotive industry, is required.
• Strong analytical skills, a systematic and results-oriented approach, and strong problem-solving competencies.
• Good knowledge of process visualization and experience with CAx systems.
• Communication skills and the ability to motivate teams and clearly convey technical concepts.

Location

This position requires your full presence at the production site in Traiskirchen to ensure operational excellence and actively contribute to the further development of our manufacturing.
