Brand management in the Rx environment – locally anchored, cross-functionally networked
The core task is the development and responsibility for product and brand strategies in the German market. You will work closely with internal national and global interfaces and external partners – scientifically sound, target group-oriented, and sustainably successful.
Responsibilities
- Brand development with depth: Support and further development of prescription-only medicines in a clearly regulated, specialized market.
- Strategy & Implementation: From positioning and campaigns to sales support materials – responsibility over the entire product lifecycle.
- Interface Management: Close collaboration with Medical Affairs, Sales, Field Service, Market Access, and international teams.
- Focus on Target Groups: Understanding the requirements of specialist physicians, pharmacists, and patients – and developing measures with real added value.
- Data-driven management: Use of market analyses, competitor observation, and KPIs for continuous optimization.
- Support for product launches: Strategic and operational co-design of launches – from planning to go-to-market.
Requirements
- Completed studies in natural sciences or economics
- Training as a pharmaceutical representative according to § 74 AMG, desirable (can be completed on the job)
- Relevant professional experience in Rx pharmaceutical marketing / product management in the Rx sector
- Understanding of medical-scientific content and regulatory requirements
- Structured, independent way of working and high team orientation
- Enjoyment of strategic brand management and operational implementation
- Very good German and English skills

- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Naturwissenschaften oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften
- Einschlägige Berufserfahrung im Rx-Pharma-Marketing / Produktmanagement im Rx-Bereich
- Verständnis für medizinisch-wissenschaftliche Inhalte und regulatorische Anforderungen
- Strukturierte, eigenständige Arbeitsweise und hohe Teamorientierung
- Freude an strategischer Markenführung und operativer Umsetzung
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
Responsibilities
- Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung von verschreibungspflichtigen Arzneimitteln in einem klar regulierten, spezialisierten Markt.
- Von Positionierung und Kampagnen bis hin zu verkaufsunterstützenden Materialien – Verantwortung über den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus.
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Medical Affairs, Vertrieb, Außendienst, Market Access und internationalen Teams.
- Entwicklung von Maßnahmen mit echtem Mehrwert für Fachärzte, Apotheker und Patienten.
- Nutzung von Marktanalysen, Wettbewerbsbeobachtung und KPIs zur kontinuierlichen Optimierung.
