About the role

Our client, a respected non-profit organization dedicated to making a significant positive impact, is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead our vital Community Impact Initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Nigeria, while contributing to impactful projects nationwide. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of programs designed to uplift and empower underserved communities.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans for community impact programs, aligning with the organization's mission and goals. Manage the full lifecycle of assigned programs, from concept development and proposal writing to execution, monitoring, and evaluation. Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, local leaders, partner organizations, and beneficiaries. Oversee program budgets, ensuring responsible financial management and adherence to funding requirements. Lead the recruitment, training, and management of program staff and volunteers. Develop and implement effective monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program progress and measure impact. Prepare regular reports for the board of directors, funders, and other stakeholders on program activities and outcomes. Identify opportunities for program expansion, innovation, and partnership development. Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, grant agreements, and relevant regulations. Champion the organization's values and mission within the communities we serve. Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Development Studies, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit or social impact sector. Proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and managing community-based programs. Strong understanding of community development principles and best practices. Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in project management, monitoring, and evaluation techniques. Strong financial management and budgeting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate program goals and impact effectively. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting. Passion for social change and commitment to the organization's mission.
