Raytheon - Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management to support a highly visible complex program area within the Radar Frequency Solutions (RFS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).
The successful candidate will primarily support customers managing Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) for the Fire Control Radar (FCR) business area through a mix of production, development and sustainment considerations. In addition, you will be expected to set strategy, vision and direction for successful execution focused on overall product affordability, product integrity, on-time deliveries to enable near, mid, and long-term business growth.
There will be high visibility to include executive leadership engagement; as this is one of the core products/programs that drive success all the way up to the Strategic Business Unit level.
This is an onsite position located in El Segundo, CA.
What You Will Do
- Proactively account for DMS components that already exist and new ones in relation to what will be needed to support the FCR business area
- Understand and represent customer needs to leadership while building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and key suppliers
- Manage risk, opportunity, cost, quality and schedule performance of key suppliers that support DMS lifetime buys
- Ensure program performance and adherence to program plans, schedules and budgets
- Manage cross functional teams across multiple Raytheon sites
- Manage Appropriation Request (AR) preparation, statements of work and specifications, negotiation, and administration of purchase orders with suppliers
- Travel domestically to support supplier and business engagements
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Program management or leadership experience
- Experience supporting proposal activity
- Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Risk and Opportunity Management and/or similar business practices
Qualifications We Prefer
- Program Management Level 5 Certification or ability to obtain within one year
- Proven success creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and/or internal peers
- Experience overseeing and monitoring supplier performance; develop preventive and corrective actions as necessary
- Experience with Raytheon manufacturing process and teams
- Active Secret U.S. government issued security clearance

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
