Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology degree in EE / ECE / CS or related field
• 14-18 years of combined experience in Engineering and Project/Program Management
• Desired: Bachelor’s degree in engineering: EE / ECE / CS, or related field.

Skills/Experience

• 8+ years of experience and domain knowledge in Semiconductor, Wireless/ Telecommunication industry
• Sound knowledge and understanding of Embedded systems and associated SW design & development
• 4+ years of Project/Program/Engineering Management experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience managing complex cross disciplinary programs.
• Experience with reporting and presentation tools (MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, Tableau, JIRA, Bug / Issue trackers, Resource/Task trackers)
• Preferred Skillset: PMP Certification.

Job Responsibilities

This Software/Technology Senior Program Manager position focused on Power, Perf, and Thermal is responsible for program management support and leadership for managing the planning, development and delivery of software that span across multiple technology areas and product segments for Qualcomm SOCs .

• Excellent opportunity to work on the latest cutting-edge software, hardware technologies.
• Collaborate with other impacting technology areas not only confining to SW such as CoreTech, HLOS, Modem, Connectivity & Multimedia but also including HW and Business stakeholders.
• Drive requirements scoping, analysis and planning including interdependencies, staffing constraints and schedule optimization across multiple tech teams and customer connect.
• Establish clear Plan of Record commitment and drive prioritization.
• Strong technical understanding of SW deliverables and risk management/risk mitigation
• Establish rigorous execution discipline & communications process: risk management, mitigation, tracking, schedule trends vs baseline, recovery actions, executive reporting & stakeholder communications.
• Develop program indicators to manage program health including quality and timelines.
• Partner with other functional areas to establish critical processes to support disciplined product development and decision making and to ensure quality. Coordination across multiple development sites required.
• Develop and establish strong processes that streamline the development cycle and help integrate multiple plans, dependencies, and deliverables effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
