Responsibilities
With your experience and strategic thinking, you will develop impactful event experiences along the customer journey – with a clear focus on achieving goals, KPIs, and measurable successes. We are looking for the strategic mastermind behind our B2B events – someone who understands formats as a lever for pipeline and C-level relationships and shapes this approach independently.
- Strategy & Conception: You develop the strategic direction of our B2B event formats (including Roundtables, Partner Events, Keynotes, Networking Events) in close coordination with our overall marketing strategy and are responsible for their further development.
- Project Responsibility & Management: You independently lead all phases of our curated B2B formats: You develop the content agenda, manage conception, planning, and execution – and measure success based on clearly defined KPIs.
- End-to-End Responsibility: You take on end-to-end responsibility for B2B events, as well as budget control, and also get hands-on operationally if needed.
- Success Measurement & Optimization: You define clear annual target figures for target contacts and unique accounts – broken down by format and period – and use this to control the entire event program, including reporting and optimization.
- Stakeholder Management: You act as the central point of contact for various internal interfaces up to C-level and ensure close content alignment for critical project phases, such as invitation management.
- Agency & Service Provider Management: You professionally coordinate external partners and service providers – from selection and briefing to implementation.
Profile
- You have a completed degree with a focus on Marketing, Communication, Event Management, or a comparable vocational training.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in B2B marketing with a clear focus on strategic conception and project management. Additional experience with operational logistics or event organization is a plus.
- You are strong in conception, goal-oriented, and have strong analytical thinking skills. At the same time, you have experience in building KPI frameworks with clear business metrics.
- You communicate confidently at all levels, convince through sovereign stakeholder management, and have experience working with interdisciplinary teams (especially with sales teams).
- You work in a structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented manner – even under time pressure. You want to shape things and gladly take on end-to-end responsibility.
- You speak German at a negotiation level and English at a very good level.
