About the role

Role Overview:

The single point of accountability for leading high-impact, end-to-end strategic transformation programmes within Transactional Services (TS). You will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Duties

  • Programme Delivery: Lead large-scale banking programmes across IT, operations, risk, and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Leadership: Manage Exco and SteerCo engagement, reporting, and escalations.
  • Governance & Risk: Implement robust RAID management and ensure strict regulatory and audit compliance.
  • Financial Management: Direct ownership of programme budgets, forecasts, and benefits realisation.
  • Change Enablement: Drive adoption and coordinate delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid environments.

Minimum Requirements

Experience & Skills:

  • Industry: Proven track record in Banking/Financial Services (Payments, Cash Management, or Core Banking).
  • Complexity: Experience managing multi-workstream, multi-vendor, and large-scale programmes.
  • Methodology: Proficiency in Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, and hybrid delivery.
  • Leadership: Strong executive-level communication and the ability to influence without authority.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Academic: Degree in Business/Commerce + Postgraduate Diploma in Project/Programme Management.
  • Professional: PMP® and SAFe® (Scaled Agile) certifications.
  • Frameworks: Scrum and ITIL® 4 Foundation.
