Key Responsibilities

  • Define, plan, and manage large-scale programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive programme plans, including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and risk management strategies.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional programme teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Oversee the execution of programme activities, track progress against milestones, and proactively address potential issues and risks.
  • Implement and refine programme management methodologies and best practices.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and management throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular programme reviews, reporting on progress, risks, and performance to senior leadership.
  • Manage programme budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project and programme management, with at least 5 years in a senior programme management role.
  • Proven experience managing complex, large-scale programmes with significant budgets and multiple workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).
  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in programme management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and manage distributed teams effectively.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the IT or technology consulting sector is a significant advantage.
