Senior Project Controls Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly analytical Senior Project Controls Engineer to lead project planning, cost control, and performance monitoring across major projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• Oversee cost control, progress measurement, and performance reporting
• Implement and maintain project controls systems and procedures
• Conduct risk analysis, including schedule and cost risk assessments
• Analyse variances and provide corrective action recommendations
• Integrate costs, the schedule, and scope into comprehensive project reporting
• Support project managers with strategic planning and decision-making
• Mentor and guide junior project controls staff

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Experience in project controls within large-scale projects
• Strong expertise in cost control, planning, and scheduling
• Advanced proficiency in tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel
• Solid understanding of earned value management (EVM) principles
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
